This Ben Nevis via the CMD Arete winter walk is led by a Winter Mountain Leader. Seasoned winter walkers and fit walkers competent with using crampons and ice axe are welcome.
You should be comfortable with the use of crampons and ice axe. This is an arduous winter day out due to the distance and ascent, so to enjoy the day you’ll need to be fit enough. The day also involves middle exposure to drops so you should be comfortable moving at a steady pace over this kind of terrain. You’ll need to provide your own personal clothing and equipment suitable for a winter day out in Scotland (kit list on booking) but all group safety equipment will be provided. If you have any questions please get in contact before booking.
